Yesterday was Mommy's birthday. Guess how old she is? No! You're wrong! She's......um, I'd better not. She's getting a little touchy about these things in her old age. Anyway, her birthday dinner wish was to eat at the Melting Pot. Like we all need the additional calories coming off the holidays.
Thanks, Mommy, the diet I intended to start in May will now start today.
Sammy garnered all of our attention, per usual. Mommy got an extra special gift from Daddy. Auntie Kenna and Uncle Dave got her a purse hook to protect Mommy's expensive purses, and Grumpa and I got her....well, what would you give someone who's baby is this close from crawling all over the house? A carpet shampooer. Yep, we're klassy like that.

Purse hook for expensive purses? I thought once you became a mommy, the expensive purses were replaced by diaper bags...geez, perhaps I best get rid of the Winnie The Pooh bag I've been carrying around for 27 years...
