Graduation

This is Sammy's new booster seat and tray.  She no longer uses the highchair.  (*sob* our baby is growing up!)

Because I'm an idiot, that's why.

I took her

here
to buy her this
and this.
And did I mention the noise and music this thing plays?  Daddy has made an edict that this scooter stays at Mimi and Papa's house.

Happenings around here

Most of you know that Sammy's Auntie is due to have her baby in one more week, if not sooner.  Or later.  Anyway, I've been doing future posts here on Daily Samantha, but I just want you all to know that there just might be a day or two that the blog doesn't get updated.  I'll do my best to keep plenty of posts out there in the blogosphere ready to pull down at a moment's notice for you here.

Mimi

Mmmmm, Craisins!

Sammy loves her some Craisins!  (But sometimes she doesn't chew them and swallows them whole.  Just ask Auntie!)

Make a wish!

I had totally forgot about saved a wishbone for Sammy.  I found it and had Daddy and Sammy make their wishes.  Guess who won?

Soul Train, where are you now?

Oh my goodness!! The cardio workout I got this afternoon...wooboy! We were jumping around and dancing and jumping and did I mention the jumping? Sammy was having a blast. And then Daddy showed up. He dances the same way he did 28 years ago! And Sammy loved it...including "shake yer bum!" that Daddy did.

Sushi

Mommy, Sammy and I had lunch the other day at a sushi restaurant.  (Mommy had only cooked items since she's pregnant with Sammy's little sister)  At first Sammy wasn't quite sure about this item to put in her mouth but she tried it.  And liked it.  She ate that whole piece herself.  Now if we can just get her to like the wasabi....

Let's trade

Sammy continues with her fascination of shoes and putting shoes on and taking shoes off.  Only now?  Now, she wants you to do the same.  We must trade our shoes.  And my shoes on her look like huge clown shoes.  And you all know how I feel about clowns!
