Wedding #2
Auntie Sheena
Meeting all the family at once gets confusing at this point for newcomers. A Sheena and a Shaina? In the same family? Well, yes. Auntie Sheena will be marrying Uncle Kyle next year and Mommy will become Auntie Shaina. This blonde cutie and Uncle Kyle will have gorgeous babies....but that's for somebody else's blog! As you can see, little Sammy just hams it up for the camera.

Raspberries
Sammy was giggling up a storm a few minutes ago when I was blowing raspberries at her. Both of us were laughing. Hopefully this will put a smile on your face too.

Uncle Dave

Officially, the 'Uncle' title will become set in stone on Sept. 6 of this year, when Uncle Dave marries Auntie Kenna. But we started calling him Uncle Dave once we found out that Sammy was on her way to us. Uncle Dave has promised Sammy that she will learn other sports like bike riding and hiking. He doesn't want her to get stuck in a golfing rut. Good luck, Uncle Dave. On our upcoming vacation, he and Auntie Kenna will be taking her hiking. He is very cute when he cuddles with his only niece.

Uncle Kyle

This is Uncle Kyle, Mommy's brother, with Sammy. It was the first meeting between the two of them. Don't Mommy and Uncle Kyle look alike? (I think that Mommy might be taller though) Anyway, Uncle Kyle is engaged and will be married within the year. Watch out, Uncle Kyle...your turn for babies is up next!

Auntie Kenna
If you've seen the movie Finding Nemo there is a scene 3/4 into the film that has a flock of seagulls eyeing some fish. One by one they start speaking until all the seagulls are crying out one word. This one word reflects Auntie Kenna's reaction when she sees her little niece.
Mine.
Mine.

MINE!

Air Potty or Gentlease, my ass
Samantha is not shy about sharing her inner most, um, well, she won't let pressure get to her, let's say. This is the formula she drinks. Even though it states, "For Babies with FUSSINESS or GAS" she is not a fussy baby. Note, I said she's not fussy. She is gassy. She toots, she scores. She can be sound asleep or wide awake, no degree of consciousness will hinder her. We should have had a hint from this photo taken while she was still in the hospital with Mommy and only a day or two old.

And while she can freshen the room with her 'odeur', she can clear the room with a dirty diaper. For example: Daddy loves to hunt and fish. With that train of thought, after Daddy bags the big game or lands the fish, he then cleans it. He has no problem doing that and has been doing that for a good 10 or more years. Cleaning out anything would make me hurl. But a dirty diaper? Daddy gags. He says he could gut a deer or pick up doggie poo without any problems, but Sammy's dirty diaps? He gets a little whoosy.
